May Day
The May Queen was crowned and visitors were entertained by children performing Maypole and Country Dancing. Ashdown Forest Morris Men performed traditional May Day dances.

Last Friday the school held a green week open afternoon.
|
Work that the children had produced throughout the week was on display, all of this work had a ‘green’ theme. Also available for people to look at was work that has been produced historically throughout the school featuring the numerous green projects that we have undertaken. The open afternoon was very well attended, the highlight being the Mayor of East Grinstead cutting the ribbon to launch our rainwater harvesting system, a system that will use harvested water to flush all of our toilets.

Winners of Climate Week Award
We are very proud to announce that the school has been awarded a prestigious Climate Week Award.
The award is in recognition of all the positive environmental projects we have initiated throughout the school. Thanks must go to Tom Parker, who over the years has worked tirelessly to gain the grants required to complete such projects.
